The Game From the Ads: Pull the Pin and Other Ad Puzzles

You have seen these ads a hundred times: a cat on a pin above lava, three pins, a caption that says 99% fail, and then the real game turns out to be something else. The Game From the Ads is the game from those ads, and it actually plays. It has 60 short puzzles of 20 to 40 seconds in six ad formats. Pull the pin and watch lava, water and gold pour, mix and settle: water turns lava into stone, lava melts gold into coal, and bandit rats get what they deserve. Pick a road through number gates and beat the boss with the biggest army. Climb a tower by beating weaker rats first. Follow tangled ropes to free the caged hero, find the key that matches the lock, and read honest door signs to find the safe one. Every level opens as a fake ad with a caption like ONLY GENIUSES or 5 SECONDS, and the caption is the real rule. The ad hand even shows the move most players make, and it is usually the wrong one. Fail and you get a proper 99% FAIL stamp and a tip. Stars unlock ten heroes, Pets of War cats and dogs plus Kek, and they star in every ad. How to play The Game From the Ads

  1. Read the fake ad caption: it is the real rule of the level.
  2. Pull the pin: tap a pin to slide it out and let lava, water and gold fall.
  3. Gates, tower, ropes, keys and doors: tap the gate, room, handle, key or door you choose.
  4. Get the gold to your hero, stop the bandit rats and never let lava touch your hero.
  5. Three stars go to the best wins: most of the gold, the strongest army, a fast time or a first try. Stars unlock new heroes.

Water turns lava into stone. Stone is safe to stand on, so pour the water first and the gold can pass.
