Meme Exit: Tap the Pets Out of the Jam

Meme Exit is a tap-to-escape puzzle about a room full of pets who all want to leave at once. Every pet wears a coloured badge and every door has a colour. Tap a pet and it runs out through the door of its colour, but only if a free path is open. Pets of the same colour that stand next to each other leave together as one conga line, so the order you tap in matters. Each pet that gets out plays the next note of a famous classic tune, and when the room is empty the whole melody plays back. There are 75 levels in five worlds: Backyard, Cafe, Disco, Rooftop and Space. New ideas arrive one at a time. Pet boxes pop out the next pet when the space in front is free. A pet standing on a button holds a gate open, and the gate shuts when it leaves, so sending it too early can trap someone. A capybara lies on a beach towel and rolls to the other half when you tap it. Sleepy pets wait until enough friends have left. Every level was solved by a computer before it shipped, so there is always a way out. If you get stuck, the game tells you, and Undo is free and unlimited. Hints show the next good move. There is no game over: a soft timer only decides your stars. A Daily board, the same for everyone, keeps a streak and gives you a short result to share. Free and made for phones.

How to play Meme Exit

  1. Tap a pet. If a path is open, it runs out through the door of its colour.
  2. Same-colour pets standing side by side leave together as a conga line.
  3. Plan the order: blocked pets just bonk and add 3 seconds to your time.
  4. Watch for buttons, gates, pet boxes, the capybara and sleepy pets as new levels unlock.
  5. Empty the room to hear the full tune and earn up to three stars.

Can a level be impossible?
No. Every level and every Daily board is solved by a computer before it ships, so there is always a way to clear the room.
What happens if I trap a pet?
The game tells you the board is stuck. Tap Undo as many times as you like to go back. Undo is free.
Why did a whole group of pets leave at once?
Pets of the same colour that touch each other form a conga line and leave together. Use it to clear big groups, or break a group up first.
Is there a time limit?
There is no game over. The timer only decides your stars: finish under the target time for three stars. A blocked tap adds 3 seconds.
How does the Daily board work?
Everyone gets the same board each day. Clear it to grow your streak and share your time and stars.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. It is made for phones in portrait with big tap targets, and it also plays in a desktop browser with a mouse.
