Bounce Melody Golf: Mini Golf Where Every Bounce Plays a Note
Bounce Melody Golf is a mini golf game where the ball is a cat curled up into a ball and every bounce plays music. Drag back anywhere on the screen to aim and set the power, a dotted line shows the path, then let go. Each time the cat ball hits a wall or a drum, the wall flashes in the color of the note and the next note of the hole's phrase rings out. Sink the ball with the shot that played the whole phrase and the hole sings it back with a bass line for a third star. Every hole gives three stars: one for sinking it, one for par or better and one for the full phrase. There are 27 hand-made holes in three courses: Backyard Bop on garden grass, Neon Rooftop under city lights and Beach Boombox with sand traps and water. Holes add sand that slows you down, water that costs a shot, slippery ice, speed arrows and drums that kick the ball back. The nine phrases of a course add up to a classic public-domain tune, and the finish screen plays the whole song as an encore. Stars wake up eight cats to roll with. The Daily Hole is the same for everyone each day, with a streak and a spoiler-free result to share. In Make a Hole you draw your own walls, test your hole and send friends a short code or link. - How do I shoot?
- Drag back anywhere on the screen, like pulling a slingshot. The farther you pull, the harder the shot. Let go to shoot, or slide back to the start to cancel.
- What is a full phrase?
- Every hole has a short phrase of notes shown at the top. Each bounce plays the next note. If the ball drops in on the shot that played every note, you get the full phrase and a third star.
- Can I play without sound?
- Yes. Walls flash in the color of the note, notes float up from every bounce and the phrase bar at the top fills as you play.
- What happens if I run out of shots?
- Each hole allows par plus three shots. When they run out you can retry the hole or watch an ad for one more shot from where the ball stopped.
- How do I share my own hole?
- Open Make a Hole, draw walls and obstacles, then press Test and sink it yourself. You get a short code and a link that opens your hole for a friend.
- Is there a new hole every day?
- Yes. The Daily Hole is the same for everyone that day. Your first finish counts for your streak, then you can keep practicing.
