8-Ball Kittens: Free Pool Game with Very Upset Kittens
8-Ball Kittens is classic 8-ball billiards on a portrait pool table made for your phone, with one twist: every ball is a curled-up kitten, and they hate pockets. Plain kittens are the solids, white tabby kittens with colored stripes are the stripes, the cue ball is a ball of yarn and the 8-ball is a black cat with yellow eyes. Kittens roll like real balls, then curl back up to nap. When one is about to drop, it opens its eyes and yells something rude on the way down. When the black cat rolls toward a pocket, the game slows down and zooms in. The physics are our own and fully deterministic, so the same shot from the same spot always ends the same way, with real follow, draw, stun and english off the cushions. Aiming is one finger: touch the table to aim, then pull back from the yarn and let go. A fine-aim wheel helps with thin cuts. Play the ladder of eight cat and dog rivals, each at their own table, from a fluffy white cat to a grumpy grey boss. Or pick a bot from Easy to Pro, or pass one phone between two players. Every day there is one Trick Shot, the same for everyone, with a streak and a result to share, plus 48 more trick shots to solve. Wins earn treats for new cues and cloths. Free, no download, and your progress stays on your device.
How to play 8-Ball Kittens
- Touch the table to aim: the line shows where the yarn goes and where the kitten will roll.
- Pull back from the yarn (or the cue) with one finger and let go to shoot. Pull farther for more power.
- Use the Fine aim wheel for tiny corrections and the Spin button for follow, draw or english.
- Pot one kitten after the break to claim plain or tabby kittens, then clear your group.
- Finish with the black cat in the pocket the game marks for you. Pot it early or with a foul and you lose.
- After a foul your rival gets ball in hand: drag the paw handle to place the yarn anywhere.

FAQ
- How do I shoot on a phone?
- Touch the table to aim, then put your finger on the yarn ball (or on the cue behind it), pull back and let go. Moving the finger sideways while you pull nudges the aim a little. Pull back to the yarn to cancel.
- Which rules does it use?
- Standard 8-ball, kept simple. The table is open after the break, the first kitten you pot claims your group, and fouls give your rival ball in hand. You must pot the black cat last, in the pocket marked by the game. Tap another pocket marker to call a different one.
- What is the Trick Shot of the Day?
- One puzzle position per day, the same for every player. Solve it in one shot with as many tries as you need, keep your streak going and share how many tries it took. Stuck after three tries? Watch a short ad to see a hint.
- Can I play with a friend?
- Yes. Choose 2 Players and pass the phone. A banner shows whose turn it is, and the break alternates when you play a rematch.
- How hard are the bots?
- Easy misses a lot, Medium pots the simple shots, Hard plays for position and Pro rarely misses. The ladder starts gentle and ends with a grumpy grey cat boss at the Midnight Club.
- Do I need to install anything?
- No. 8-Ball Kittens runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, and your progress is saved on your device.
