Calm Capy Quest: The Capybara Roguelite
Calm Capy Quest is a short-session roguelite starring the calmest capybara on the road. The capybara walks by itself, and every day you choose one of three signposts: a fight, a cat or dog to meet, a hot spring, a snack cart or a lost backpack. Fights play out on their own, turn by turn, with big damage numbers. Each level up lets you pick one of three skills, such as Leaf Toss, Yuzu Bomb, Belly Bonk or Snore Wave, and some pairs fuse into stronger combo skills. The enemies are stress monsters like Bzzt, Ping and Doomscroll. You never really beat them up: you calm them down until they fall asleep and float away. The twist is the Calm meter. Above 75 the capybara enters ZEN, hits harder and unlocks special answers in events. Below 25 it freaks out, sweats and misses hits. Fill Calm to 100 during a fight and the STAY CALM button lights up: a hot spring appears, and every foe, even a boss, falls asleep and takes extra damage. Five chapters end with bosses such as Big Monday, Inbox 999 and The Deadline, and after that the chapters loop as harder Remix runs. More than 120 silly road events hide rare 1 in 100 and 1 in 1000 outcomes, and your funniest moment becomes a card you can share. Earn yuzu, buy upgrades at the Camp and walk the Daily Road, which is the same for everyone. Free in the browser on phone and computer.
