Draw to Save the Cat: Draw One Line, Keep the Cat Safe
Draw to Save the Cat is a physics drawing puzzle with one simple rule: you get one line. A cat sits in the open, a hive is buzzing, a watermelon is about to drop, and your pencil only holds so much ink. Draw a dome, a roof, a wall or a ramp with your finger. When you lift it, the line becomes a real object with weight, and the timer starts. Bees swarm and bump against it, melons bounce and roll away, water bombs burst into drops. Hold out until the timer reaches zero and the cat is safe. Use less ink to earn up to three stars. Here is our twist: the pencil sings. Every level hides a well-known public-domain tune, such as Ode to Joy or Twinkle, Twinkle. As you draw, your line plays it note by note, and every bee, melon or ball that hits your line plays the next note on a wooden marimba. A short line plays a short tune, so the neatest solutions sound neat too. Your best line for every level is kept in a sketchbook on the level map. There are 32 levels in four worlds: Bee Garden, Melon Market, Rainy Roofs with drifting rain clouds and ponds, and Dog Park, where playful dogs throw tennis balls at the cat. Stuck? Ask for a hint line. Free to play in your browser on phone and PC, no download.
How to play Draw to Save the Cat
- Look at the danger: a bee hive, a melon pipe, a rain cloud or a dog with a ball.
- Drag your finger or mouse to draw one line before the ink runs out.
- Let go: the line drops into the world as a solid object and the timer starts.
- Keep the cat safe until the timer reaches zero. Less ink earns more stars.

FAQ
- How do I draw the line?
- Press and drag in the open sky. The ink bar at the top shows how much is left. Lift your finger and the line drops into the world. You cannot draw through rocks, the cat or striped no-draw zones.
- How long do I have to protect the cat?
- Most levels last 7 to 10 seconds after you finish drawing. Nothing moves while you draw, so take your time to plan the line.
- How do I get three stars?
- Use less ink. The star marks on the ink bar show where you would lose a star. A short, smart line beats a big scribble.
- Why does the pencil play music?
- Each level has its own public-domain tune. Drawing plays it note by note, and anything that hits your line plays the next notes. The result card tells you which tune your line played.
- What if I get stuck?
- Tap the bulb button to see a hint line after a short ad. After three tries on the same level you can also skip it.
- Is it free and does it work on phones?
- Yes. It is free in the browser on phones, tablets and PCs with no download, and your progress is saved automatically.
