There are two kinds of cat games. In one, a cat is a mascot painted on top of a normal game. In the other, the game is about being a cat, thinking like one or putting up with one. This list is the second kind.
All fifteen are free, run in a browser and work on a phone or a computer with no download. They are grouped by what you are in the mood for.
Be the cat
Games where you play as the cat, with all the bad behavior that comes with it.
1. Push It Off. You are a naughty house cat, and the table is full of cups, vases and cakes. Push them off the edge. Every crash turns into music. When you hear footsteps, dive into a box or behind a curtain and stay very still until the owner leaves.
2. Eat the Whole Store. A tiny hungry cat in a supermarket. Eat crumbs, then candy, then shopping carts, then the checkouts, growing bigger with every bite. There is a boss made of giant food, and the goal is in the title.
3. Reel Weird. A cat goes fishing. Hold to cast, tap to hook, and reel in on the beat. Most of the time you catch socks and boots. Sometimes you catch a fish in a business suit. Very rarely you catch something that only one player in a million will see.
4. Uphill Paws. A ginger cat drives a car up endless hills. When the car finally flips, the cat is thrown into the air, and three judges score the landing. Cats always land on their feet, so the scores are mostly about style.
Outsmart the cat
Games where the cat is the obstacle.
5. Mouse Hole Wars. You run a mouse colony. Move while the cat snores, freeze when it opens one eye, and grow from one hole to an army of 300 mice. The final target is the pizza.

Take care of cats
7. Kitten Pop Rescue. Kittens are stuck in bubbles. Pop the bubbles and the kittens parachute down into a dog's basket. Thirty-two levels and a yarn ball power-up.
8. Unscrew It. Take cute 3D gadgets apart one screw at a time and sort the screws into boxes by color. A pet is hiding inside every gadget, waiting to be let out.
9. Draw to Save the Cat. Draw one line to protect a cat from bees, falling melons and water balloons. Your pencil plays a tune while you draw.
Work for cats
10. Order Up, Kitty! A cat chef opens a burger joint. Take the order, grill the patties and build each burger exactly like the ticket. A giant stamp scores every burger.

Play classic games with cats

14. Cats vs Dogs: Board Night. Four in a row, checkers and tic-tac-toe, with cats against dogs. Play a bot or a friend on one phone.

What makes a good cat game
The best cat games get one thing right about real cats. Push It Off nails the slow paw toward the edge of a table. Mouse Hole Wars uses the half-open eye of a cat pretending to sleep. Meowjong Triples has a cat that lies down on exactly the thing you need.
That is also the test for any cat game you find elsewhere: if you can swap the cat for any other animal and nothing changes, it is a regular game with a cat sticker on it.
